The school counselor is currently available at Emma Miller Elementary School on Friday mornings. Some students talk with the counselor every week and others on an “as needed” request. Any student can have access to this service.
Our counselor works to provide support and guidance with issues that can affect a students’ focus and success in school.
Students are referred to the counselor by way of teachers, parents and students themselves (“self-refer”).
The counselor’s goal in helping a student is to operate as a team member along with parents, teachers and student to initiate positive changes.
