Each year, a Basic Rights Workshop is offered to parents/guardians to gain more information about the IEP process for students with special needs. We are collaborating with neighboring districts to offer this workshop twice this school year, once in October and again in March.
North Adams will host a Basic Rights Workshop virtual workshop on Wednesday October 26 from 6-8pm. It will be facilitated by the Federation for Children with Special Needs. All NBSU parents are invited to attend.
An informational flyer is linked here: https://core-docs.s3.amazonaws.com/documents/asset/uploaded_file/1376/NAPS/2501949/NAPS_Understanding_the_IEP_Flyer.pdf
